Bullivant's 2010 Boot Camp provides practical management training and techniques for supervisors, managers, HR professionals, and business owners. The training will empower participants to deal with the tough issues they face when managing employees. You will learn how to recognize and handle issues of discrimination, harassment, ill and injured workers, discipline, evaluation, overtime, immigration, and new laws. New topics include COBRA stimulus and health care reform.
Learn management skills necessary during challenging situations surrounding such issues as: reductions in force, pay reductions, furloughs, and cutbacks. This Boot Camp applies to small and large employers with operations throughout Oregon, Washington and California.
We will review new state and federal laws from 2009 and how they may impact employers and their practices.
An employer's most powerful weapon for avoiding employment lawsuits is a well-trained manager. All supervisors, managers and HR professionals working the front lines should attend. Business owners who want to improve their bottom line through cutting edge HR practices should attend.
