Bullivant Houser Bailey PC Announces 2010 Diversity Fellowship Program

Portland, Ore. and Sacramento, Ca. (November 16, 2009) – Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a West Coast business and complex litigation law firm, is pleased to announce its 2010 Diversity Fellowship Program.
The Fellowship Program provides two first-year law students with salaried summer associate positions, and a $7,500 stipend for use during the student's second year of law school. Two fellowships will be awarded: one is located in the Portland, Oregon office and the other in the Sacramento, California office.

The criteria for application for these fellowships include:
1. Applicant must be a first-year law student who is a member of a minority group, including any group underrepresented in the legal industry, and/or students from a disadvantaged economic or educational background;
2. He or she must be a student in good standing with an ABA-accredited law school;
3. He or she must have demonstrated academic achievement and leadership in college and the first year of law school;
4. He or she must be willing to complete a 10 to 12-week summer associate position in our Portland or Sacramento office, and;
5. He or she must have made contributions to the community that promote diversity within society, the legal community, or at the student's law school.
The postmark deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, January 21, 2010.
