Bullivant Houser Bailey Announces Election of Insurance, IP Shareholders
Wednesday, January 01, 2014
Bullivant Houser Bailey PC has elected two attorneys as shareholders, Matthew Hedberg and Michael Ratoza. Hedberg's practice focuses on insurance law and Ratoza's on intellectual property. Both attorneys are located in the firm's Portland office.
"We are pleased to welcome Matt and Mike as shareholders," said Loren Podwill, firm president. "Their experience, energy and commitment to clients, the legal profession, and the firm will make them great additions to the shareholder ranks."
Hedberg was an associate in the Insurance Law Practice Group. Hedberg's experience in jury and bench trials informs his approach to coverage matters where he represents insurance carriers in both contractual and extra-contractual claims. His experience includes significant contributions as a member of the Bullivant trial team in one of the largest Portland area lawsuits in many years, the $10 million "Masood" case. He has been selected as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers.
Ratoza is an attorney in the firm's Business Law Practice Group. Previously serving as Of Counsel at Bullivant, he focuses on copyright and trademark law, both transactional and litigation. He has been practicing for more than 35 years, and has been ranked in Chambers, selected to Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers, and is also AV® Preeminent™ peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
