Practice Experience

Arlena Carrozzi joined Bullivant Houser Bailey as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Group in 2010. She has extensive experience across several areas of law, including work on general complex commercial litigation matters, intellectual property matters, securities matters and insurance coverage disputes. Arlena has worked on all phases of litigation including preparing complaints, discovery, summary judgment motions and appellate briefs. She also has supported cases through trial and participated in several mediations.

While in law school, Arlena served as a Legal Intern at the Superior Court of California, Alameda County, Oakland. While there, she participated in client mediations, drafted judge's orders and represented clients in divorce and custody proceedings.

Prior to joining Bullivant Houser Bailey, Arlena was an associate at DLA Piper.

Representative Experience

  • Work on regulatory enforcement actions, including representing clients in a range of matters arising under federal and state securities laws, shareholder derivative litigation and accounting fraud allegations;
  • Work on intellectual property matters, including trade secret protection issues focused on preserving the client's confidential information;
  • Assisting insureds regarding coverage disputes, including analyses and opinions as to coverage on a variety of policies, including but not limited to commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, and employment practices liability.
