Practice Experience

Beth Skillern presently serves as Managing Shareholder and also acts as firm General Counsel. She has practiced in the area of insurance coverage in the Portland, Oregon, office for over 20 years. She has advised insurance companies on coverage determinations and claim handling, and has represented them in lawsuits to resolve coverage issues and bad faith claims. Representative cases include lawsuits filed to resolve coverage for claims alleging product defects in class action lawsuits, claims for faulty construction alleged against contractors and subcontractors, claims for trademark infringement and advertising injury, and claims for environmental damage and pollution cleanup.
