Practice Experience

Brittany Madderra's practice includes all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on complex litigation. In addition to defending product liability claims, Brittany has successfully represented municipalities, school districts, northwest tribes, businesses, and individuals in a range of matters, including multi-plaintiff personal injury claims, wrongful death and survival actions, alleged breach of contract, breach of warranty, defamation, competition and consumer protection actions, fire suppression cost-recovery suits, real property disputes, and employment discrimination cases.

Before joining private practice, Brittany served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Catherine Shaffer at the King County Superior Court. While at the University of Washington School of Law, Brittany was Executive Managing Editor of the Washington International Law Journal (formerly the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal), served as a judicial extern to Justice Susan Owens of the Washington State Supreme Court, and worked for Washington State Representative Gerry Pollet.

Outside the Firm

Brittany lives in Seattle's Green Lake neighborhood with her husband, Mike. When she is not practicing law, you will find her skiing or hiking around the Pacific Northwest.
