Practice Experience

Diane Lenkowsky helps public and private clients resolve problems in and out of the courtroom as a civil litigation attorney. She has taken on a wide range of litigation matters, including general commercial, real estate and easement, employment, personal injury defense, and insurance coverage litigation.

Before law school, Diane worked at the Arizona Legislature where she gained direct experience crafting legislation, presenting bills to lawmakers, and working with stakeholders to explain the impact of proposed laws. Today, Diane continues to work with municipalities, special districts, and other forms of local governments to draft legislative proposals and monitor legislation that is of interest to her clients. Diane has experience on both sides of the public records law and assists governmental clients in complying with the public records, meetings, and government ethics laws.

Diane also assists Oregon employers in developing effective handbooks, advising on compliance with the Affordable Care Act, navigating HIPAA issues, responding to BOLI complaints, and classifying exempt and non-exempt employees.
