Portland, OR (March 8, 2010) – Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a leading West Coast business and complex litigation law firm, is pleased to announce that Jeanne Loftis has been admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Loftis joins five other Bullivant Houser Bailey attorneys who are already members of ABOTA: Jeffrey Eden, Stephen English, David Ernst, Douglas Houser, and Richard Whittemore.

"Bullivant has a great tradition of highly skilled litigators, and Jeanne's admission to ABOTA highlights our continued commitment to trial practice," said firm president Beth Skillern. "Jeanne has been very committed to client work and advancing the legal profession, and it's fantastic to see her achievements rewarded in both areas."

The American Board of Trial Advocates is an invitation-only membership organization comprising plaintiffs' and defense attorneys as well as judges. The organization is focused on preserving the right to fair trials by jury in civil matters, and to advancing the highest professional and ethical standards in the legal profession.
