Practice Experience

Matt Hedberg is a member of the Insurance Industry Services Group. His practice focuses on working with insurance companies to resolve coverage questions, including litigating coverage matters when necessary. Matt has good trial experience, including multiple jury trials. Matt previously practiced in Boise, Idaho where he focused on commercial litigation, including complex contractual disputes, business torts, products liability, real estate transactions, employment law, and class action lawsuits in both state and federal forums of Oregon, Idaho, and California.

Matt served as a law clerk for Hon. Chief Justice Linda Copple Trout, Idaho Supreme Court following graduation from law school. Prior to law school, he served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Collection Technician.

Matt is admitted to practice law in Oregon, Idaho and California. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Law, where he was an editor on the law review, and earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho where he graduated summa cum laude.
