Bullivant Houser Bailey Attorney Receives American Institute of Marine Underwriters Top Award

Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a West Coast business and complex litigation law firm, is pleased to announce that firm Shareholder Jess Millikan has recently been awarded the American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU) Distinguished Service Award.

The Board of Directors of the AIMU developed its Distinguished Service Award to acknowledge significant individual contributions to the American ocean marine industry through one or more activities associated with the AIMU. Jess Millikan was nominated for this award by the Board of Marine Underwriters of San Francisco, an affiliate of the AIMU, for her many years of volunteer service to the organization.
The award recognizes her work in assisting the Board achieve its primary goal of educating the marine insurance community. Millikan has been a frequent speaker at their San Francisco Biennial Marine Seminar since the mid-1980's and has served on the seminar steering committee since 1994. The Biennial Marine Seminar brings together more than 400 professionals for a two-day conference. She is also a frequent speaker and volunteer for other insurance and legal organizations, including the Loss Executives Association and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
