Monica Ghosh is a member of the firm's casualty litigation practice where she defends clients in complex civil litigation matters including product liability, medical malpractice, class action, and catastrophic injury cases.
She has prior experience with commercial litigation, representing business and government entities in a variety of matters. As part of her condemnation practice, Monica worked with municipal entities and property owners regarding eminent domain law.
Before moving to Seattle, Monica practiced in Chicago, Illinois, where she provided research and authored briefs and complaints for federal, appellate, and state law litigation. She has taken and defended numerous depositions, drafted and responded to discovery, as well as drafted evidentiary motions, pre-and-post trial motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment. She also has assisted in litigation of whistleblower, class-action, and employment discrimination law cases, which included investigations, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
Monica received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Texas. During her undergraduate studies, Monica served as the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of The Texas Undergraduate Research Journal.
