Bullivant Houser Bailey PC is pleased to announce that Rachel Tallon Reynolds has joined the firm's Casualty Law Practice Group as a Shareholder in their Seattle, Washington office. Prior to joining Bullivant, Rachel was a Partner with a major international trial firm and has been named as a "Rising Star" in Washington Super Lawyers since 2013.

Rachel defends companies against claims involving toxic torts, product liability, and catastrophic personal injury. Corporate and municipal clients often face societal challenges when defending themselves against litigation, and Rachel takes pride in telling jurors who her clients are and why their story matters.

An experienced first chair trial attorney, Rachel prides herself on providing creative solutions to legal challenges and outwitting her adversaries. Having grown up in a small town and then traveling the world as a member of the U.S. Army, Rachel is uniquely able to connect with people from all walks of life. This skill serves her well when persuading jurors, deposing witnesses, or managing all aspects of complex litigation.

Rachel began her career as a Deputy District Attorney for one of the largest counties in the United States, where she was named a "Prosecutor of the Year." She has represented clients in appeals in various state courts and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Rachel received her J.D. from Chapman University School of Law, graduating cum laude, and earned a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College. She currently serves as Vice-Chair on the Membership Committee and the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Committee for the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) and is a member of the Admissions Committee of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), a peer-selected group of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction. Rachel is also the Treasurer of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers (WDTL).
