Practice Experience

As a senior trial attorney with more than 30 years of experience, Ron frequently litigates, arbitrates and mediates complex civil, commercial, general business and contract disputes in state and federal courts throughout California.

Ron represents:

  • Owners, developers, landlords, property managers and tenants, including restaurateurs, in commercial lease and contract disputes;
  • Owners and developers in real estate issues including property and boundary disputes, easements, encroachments and land use disputes;
  • ERISA union trust funds in collective bargaining agreement and trust agreement disputes/litigation with construction employers;
  • Owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in all aspects of construction disputes including construction defect, breach of contract, delay claims, and contractors' remedies such as mechanics' liens, payment and performance bonds and stop notices;
  • Sureties in both public and private construction projects; and
  • National and international insurance companies representing insureds under third party policies including fiduciary liability, directors and officers (D&O) and errors and omissions (E&O).

In recognition of his skills in resolving complex litigation cases, Ron was nominated and appointed by the San Francisco Superior Court to serve as a panelist for the Court's Early Settlement Program.
