Practice Experience

Tim Giacometti's real estate and business law practices are informed by than 10 years of finance experience in the real estate industry. His background as an acquisitions and asset management professional for a Seattle-based institutional investment management firm and his experience with a multifamily property mortgage bank brings a practical, business oriented perspective to his practice.

Tim's real estate work includes:

• Representing investors, lenders, landlords and tenants in the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements
• Preparing loan documents, leases and easements, and closing of such transactions
• Negotiating, construction and architects agreements and covenants for owners
• Advising residential brokerage firms on agency, licensing and transactional issues

Tim's business transactional work includes:

• Reviewing, preparing and modifying of entity documents, such as LLC operating agreements
• Reviewing, preparing and modifying tenancy in common agreements that define the rights and obligations of the business owners

Tim has served his community as a volunteer attorney for the Southeast Legal Clinic of the King County Bar Association since 2002. He served as a volunteer big brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of King and Pierce County for ten years and as a board member of the Lutheran Alliance to Create Housing, a Seattle nonprofit housing developer.
