Ron Clark focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation, and the defense of general tort actions, including product liability claims. His practice emphasizes litigation of claims involving construction-related issues, and allegations of bad-faith claims handling.

Steve Cook's practice focuses on intellectual property, contracting, mergers and acquisitions, and overall business law advice as "outside general counsel" to a variety of businesses and individuals.

Since joining the firm in 1999, Stephen Deatherage has been a key member of BHB's law and motion team. In that role, Stephen has focused his practice on researching, briefing, and arguing complex motions in federal and state trial courts, as well as representing clients before federal and state appellate courts.

Dan McNeil's practice focuses on commercial litigation matters including contract and business tort related claims; UCC warranty matters; business valuation and lost profit disputes; and advice/counsel to non-profit and credit union boards of directors.

Jim Moher has extensive experience in commercial litigation involving contract disputes; business tort actions; motor truck cargo and warehouse losses; and product liability claims. He also advises companies in the waste management industry on a variety of corporate matters and issues concerning loss prevention.

Todd Norris is a West Coast litigator with fifteen years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including franchise, patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property disputes.

Beth Skillern presently serves as Managing Shareholder, General Counsel and has practiced in the area of insurance coverage in the Portland, Oregon, office for over 20 years.

Katherine Somervell focuses her practice on all aspects of employment law. She enjoys being able to help her clients solve issues as diverse as dealing with problem employees to ensuring that the documents setting forth their employee benefit plans are compliant with ERISA. Having spent over a dozen years practicing solely in the employment and employee benefits arena, she is able to draw on those years of specialized experience to provide her clients with creative yet pragmatic solutions designed to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and minimize exposure to litigation or investigation.

Ron Stephenson's practice focuses on defense of litigation involving drugs, medical devices, product and professional liability, and nursing homes. He has tried close to 100 cases to juries, judges and arbitrators.

Richard has more than 27 years of experience practicing civil law in major exposure cases along the west coast in both state and federal court. His experience with these litigation matters includes products liability defense, clergy malpractice, medical malpractice and complex commercial litigation. He has tried more than 55 cases to verdict including several wrongful death cases.
