Todd Norris Named BALIF's 2010-2011 "Connections" Mentor of the Year
Please join us in congratulating Todd Norris of Bullivant Houser Bailey PC who was voted by the outgoing BALIF Board to be the 2010-2011 "Connections" Mentor of the Year. Dennis Raglin, Chair of BALIF"s Young Lawyers & Students Committee which runs "Connections," says "Todd symbolizes what a successful mentor is for our community – he takes the time to invest in the generation that is coming after us – to make it stronger and grow its skills to develop both personally and professionally, and to help it get a leg up on the competition. He answers and believes in the call of BALIF's mentoring – "If not you, who? If not now, when?"
Todd's mentee, Stan Sarkisov, adds that Todd always made time for him and even introduced Stan to a family law attorney who took him to one of her hearings where Stan met a judge with whom he will be working with during fall semester! On being Mentor of the Year, Todd says,"I'm extremely honored! I should add that Stan was very diligent about getting the most that he could out of the mentoring program, and he made it easy for me to do my part by following up on our discussions and making sure we stayed in touch. I'm thrilled to receive the award as I know there are numerous others who are every bit as deserving."
