Seattle, WA. (April 22, 2019) — Bullivant Houser Bailey PC is pleased to announce that Charles A. Willmes has rejoined the firm’s Casualty Law Practice Group as a partner in their Seattle, Washington office. He was formerly with Bullivant from 2001 to 2007. Prior to rejoining Bullivant, Charles founded the Willmes Law Group in 2016.
Charles has more than 25 years of experience in defense litigation where he focuses his practice on complex litigation with a special emphasis on premises liability, product liability, and general liability defense claims. He regularly represents national retailers and hospitality industry clients in premises liability matters. He also has extensive experience in trucking and other motor vehicle accident cases. He has also successfully handled construction site accident and crane accident litigation matters.
Charles has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts in Washington. He has also successfully litigated cases in federal court in Oregon. He has extensive experience resolving cases in arbitration and mediation and also serves as an arbitrator for King County Superior Court.

Charles received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and earned a B.A. from the University of Redlands.
