We were the defense attorneys in Lampf v. Gilbertson, one of the most important securities cases to be decided by the Supreme Court in the past decade. In this case, the United States Supreme Court granted our Petition for Certiorari and held that securities litigation instituted pursuant to Section 10(b) and Rule 10-b-5 must be commenced within three years of the violation and within one year after discovery of the facts constituting the violation.
