Bullivant Houser is seeking an Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals. The position may be based out of either our Seattle or Portland office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your talents to our incredible team of lawyers and impact their careers in a rewarding and meaningful way! This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and advancing various initiatives related to the well-being and professional development of our attorneys. Essential responsibilities include attorney recruiting, onboarding, associate mentoring and retention, associate professional development and engagement, and managing the summer associate program. It also involves administering various internal attorney programs and processes including the compensation process and CLE compliance. We are looking for individuals who have substantial experience in employee relations, mentoring and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Law firm experience strongly preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree or a JD
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting or closely related experience
- Proven leadership, ability to manage and mentor others
- Responsive and positive verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to effectively interact with leadership, all attorneys, candidates, law schools, and search firms
- Commitment to excellent client service
- Creative and innovative
- Excellent organization skills – setting priorities, initiative, advance planning, and flexibility
- Travel to other offices required
