JOB DESCRIPTION
Bullivant Houser has a full-time Litigation Assistant position available in our Seattle office. This is an entry-level position that offers growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will provide litigation and administrative support to our paralegals and legal assistants in the areas of document management/organization, retrieving court dockets/documents from online sources, document preparation including subpoenas and exhibits, assisting with document productions and discovery requests, request and organize medical records and update indices, utilize software to convert/combine and bates label documents, assist with scheduling and docketing depositions, and other tasks such as downloading and saving documents to the DMS, processing vendor invoices and updating invoice tracking logs, updating contact information in the CRM, and assembling notebooks for depositions and trials. This position will also provide coverage for reception and facilities, and other administrative office projects, as needed. During this time when most of our employees are working remotely, this position will be in the office every day handling administrative tasks that require in-office assistance such as scanning incoming mail and handling outgoing mail/FedEx or UPS, and putting together notebooks.
REQUIREMENTS
At least one year of law firm experience is required; database and online research experience and paralegal courses a plus. Successful candidates will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, exceptional client service orientation, reliability, initiative, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
