DEFENDING BUSINESSES INVOLVED IN CASUALTY LITIGATION
Andrea Clifford works diligently to help a variety of businesses resolve complex disputes that involve catastrophic injury, including construction defect, products liability, auto accident, medical malpractice, and sex abuse cases. Strong in research and writing, Andrea enjoys digging into a challenging case where novel legal questions and complicated issues arise. She is thoughtful in her approach to developing the right strategy, coming up with an overarching theme and advancing it to resolve a case as early as possible.
Before joining the firm, Andrea was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kathleen Dailey at the Multnomah County Circuit Court. She drafted memoranda, opinions, and orders on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters. Significant time in the courtroom and exposure to all types of cases provides Andrea with an advantage. She has seen what is more persuasive in front of a judge with different approaches to written motions, oral argument, trial, and settlement.
While in law school, Andrea participated in several national moot court competitions, placing second in the National Animal Law Competition and first in the Merhige National Environmental Negotiation Competition.
