Emelia Hickok is an Associate in Bullivant’s Casualty Law group. Armed with 10 years of defense experience, she is a skilled negotiator and zealous advocate.

Emelia has a background in both criminal and civil defense. She began her career as a public defender, first in Snohomish County, then in Pierce County, affording her substantial jury trial, motion, and appellate experience. Later, she worked as Staff Counsel for a national insurance company, defending insureds during subrogation, UM, UIM, and PIP lawsuits in courts of both limited and unlimited jurisdiction.

She is skilled in managing all aspects of discovery, depositions, arbitration, and mediation activities, and her clients appreciate her goal-centered yet holistic approach.
