DEFENDING INSURERS FACING COMPLICATED COVERAGE LITIGATION

Liz Hebel is a litigator who helps leading insurance carriers resolve challenging third-party liability coverage disputes. Each case she handles presents new issues to analyze with a specific set of facts that oftentimes haven’t yet been litigated in Washington courts. She is skilled at thinking on her feet, determining whether coverage exists under a policy and quickly coming up with strategies for solutions. Intent on getting the complete picture, Liz is thorough and pays attention to details to uncover key pieces of information and find the hidden gems.

Having previously worked in insurance law for a plaintiffs firm, Liz offers a valuable perspective from the other side of the table. She also brings prior experience as a staff attorney and law clerk at the public defender’s office in San Diego, CA where she was frequently interfacing with clients and arguing cases in court.

During law school, Liz worked at the district attorney’s office. She also served as Associate Writer for the Western Law Review and International Law Journal where she was recognized with the Outstanding Editor Award.
