DEFENDING CASUALTY CLAIMS WITH THOUGHTFUL PRECISION
Mark Firmin is an Associate in Bullivant’s Casualty group. He brings experience with insurance defense as well as construction defect, negligent security, wrongful death, and defamation. Mark is a detail-oriented and strategic writer and oral advocate. While pursuing his J.D., Mark worked as a Law Clerk in the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic’s Human Trafficking Clinic and a Certified Legal Intern in their First Amendment Clinic, as well as a Teaching Assistant for multiple Legal Writing courses. Additionally, he served as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Maarten Vermaat in the Western District of Michigan. Before entering the legal profession, Mark was a Peace Corps Volunteer and a civics instructor. He draws on his experience as an educator to help simplify complex issues for clients and courts alike.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Outside of the office, Mark is usually outdoors exploring nature or indoors exploring Netflix with his partner and their dog. Otherwise, he can be found running a table-top role playing game or playing the bass in the garage.
