NATIONALLY-RECOGNIZED LITIGATOR WITH MORE THAN 40 TRIAL VERDICTS
Our friend and colleague, Ron Clark, has retired after practicing law for over four decades. Ron dedicated his career to defending clients in cases involving insurance coverage litigation and bad faith, product liability, and general tort actions. He represented clients in the Northwest, Utah, and Alaska in state and federal courts. They benefited from his extensive background and courtroom experience because he helped them understand the opportunities and risks of taking a case before a jury and judge.
The majority of Ron’s work involved defense of bad faith claim-handling allegations. He defended some of the largest national insurance carriers in coverage litigation and bad faith matters across the Northwest and in other jurisdictions. In product liability, Ron defended manufacturers in heavy equipment and chemical industries. His work in product liability was complemented by defense of general tort actions that spanned several industries.
Ron’s colleagues continue to provide legal services to clients in these practice areas. If you need legal assistance, please contact Jeanne Loftis, Portland Shareholder in Charge, at 503.499.4601 or moc.tnavillub@sitfol.ennaej.

Professional associations and clients call on Ron to present programs on insurance coverage, trial practice, and defense strategies. In addition to speaking and writing, Ron serves on several committees and boards of both insurance and professional legal associations. He has also served on Bullivant Houser’s board of directors.
