Patent infringement case

Bullivant Houser Bailey represented a subsidiary of a national agricultural company in an patent infringement case brought by one of the world's largest food purveyors, stemming from canola seeds engineered by our client to produce trans fat free canola oil. After trial and post trial briefing, the court found that the food purveyors patent was invalid allowing our client to compete freely in the trans fat free canola oil market.
