We obtained a defense verdict on bad faith claims and an award of only $4,331 in additional contract benefits in a jury trial where the insured sought more than $2.5 million on account of wind damage to its building in Reno, Nevada. The insured advanced a novel theory regarding the calculation of business income losses where the policyholder’s operations are impaired. The case is on appeal.
