PROVIDING FOCUSED AND DETAIL-DRIVEN ADVOCACY FOR CLIENTS

Stuart is an associate in Bullivant’s Casualty group who defends clients in litigation matters concerning negligence, medical malpractice, construction, regulatory matters, catastrophic injury, premises liability, and contract disputes. He also has experience in matters involving civil rights, government/municipal liability, appeals, and contract disputes. Prior to working for Bullivant, Stu worked for an insurance defense firm in Seattle, and as a public defender in Whatcom County and Spokane County. He also clerked for Judges Rebecca L. Pennell and Robert E. Lawrence-Berrey of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III. Stuart received his JD from Gonzaga University, graduating magna cum laude. He also served as associate editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and was a member of the National Moot Court Team and Moot Court Honors Council.

Stuart has been an avid traveler throughout his life. He has been to 32 countries on four different continents and plans to keep adding to the list whenever possible. He also enjoys travelling throughout the United States, visiting 40 of 50 states so far.
