In Memoriam, Portland

INSURANCE COVERAGE LEGAL LEGEND

We are sad to announce the passing of our colleague, friend, and mentor, Douglas Guy Houser. Doug passed on September 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Doug was an excellent trial lawyer, a wonderful mentor, and a dear friend to us all. He will be deeply missed.

After 60 years at Bullivant Houser, our friend and colleague, Doug Houser, has retired from the practice of law. However, Doug won’t be a stranger to us and will continue to come into our office from time to time to share his wisdom and experience with his colleagues. Doug’s practice emphasis included insurance and reinsurance issues, commercial litigation, arbitration, intellectual property, and product liability. The firm is grateful for Doug’s many years of excellent client service and professionalism.

Doug’s colleagues continue to provide legal services to clients in these practice areas. If you need legal assistance please contact Sam Ruby, Insurance Law Practice Group Leader, at 415.352.2723; email: moc.tnavillub@ybur.leumas or Laura Caldera Loera, Firm President, at 503.499.4602; email: moc.tnavillub@areol.arual.
