Elizabeth Petersen is an attorney in Bullivant’s business law group. She brings experience with breach of contract actions, property disputes, real estate transactions and litigation, personal injury pre-litigation investigation and litigation, and appellate work. A southern California native, Elizabeth began her legal career litigating personal injury actions in California after receiving her J.D. and International and Comparative Law Certificate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Before settling in beautiful Portland, Elizabeth broadened her litigation experience by representing commercial and municipal clients in southwest Colorado, where she focused her practice on breach of contract actions, real estate matters, and appellate work.

Prior to her legal practice, Elizabeth gained experience researching complex legal and social issues at the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. Elizabeth combines her previous experience working with vulnerable populations and her diverse litigation background to enthusiastically advocate for her clients with empathy and a strong attention to detail.

When Elizabeth is not working, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling. She loves spending time in the mountains or near the ocean with her family and friends.
