Jeff Ryding is an associate in the firm’s casualty law group. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School. During that time, Jeff served as a judicial extern in Washington County Circuit Court and made his first court appearances working in criminal defense as a Washington State Rule 9 Intern. He began his legal career as a public defender in Lane County, where he gained experience as a trial attorney. After moving to private practice, Jeff primarily focused on defending felony matters in Clark County Superior Court, but also represented clients throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

Jeff prides himself on diligent preparation and attention to detail, ensuring that his clients are apprised of the nuances of their legal issues and equipped to arrive at the best possible outcome.

Jeff enjoys running and going to the beach during his free time. He is an avid baseball enthusiast, and spent three seasons coaching high school baseball in Eugene.
