Practice Experience

Matt Wojcik is a litigator who defends clients in complex civil matters, primarily in the areas of professional liability, medical malpractice, product liability and construction defect litigation. Matt has 20 years of trial, arbitration and mediation experience in the federal, state and tribal courts of Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. He has substantial experience representing physicians, hospitals, attorneys, engineers, architects, construction contractors, product manufacturers, and insurance companies. In addition to his litigation practice, Matt assists clients in developing risk management strategies to avoid liability claims and related litigation.

Matt is Past-President of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, is the Washington State Membership Chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel, and is on the Board of Trustees for the YMCA Youth & Government program. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, was named a "Rising Star" for 2007 and 2005 by Washington Super Lawyers, and was awarded the Random Acts of Professionalism Award by the Washington State Bar Association Professionalism Committee in 2005.

Outside the Firm

In addition to his legal credentials, Matt was certified as an emergency medical technician and whitewater rafting guide. Outside the office, Matt keeps busy chasing after his two sons, traveling the world with his wife and trying to correct an "overly athletic" golf swing.
