Diversity and Inclusion Initiative

We believe respectful dialogue across differences is both a cultural ideal and an effective business practice. Our Community & Diversity Committee leads our efforts to recognize, embrace, and learn from human differences. The Committee actively fosters an environment of mutual respect and understanding among our diverse populations not only within the Firm, but also outside it. This reciprocal relationship with the community enhances diversity within the Firm to make it a great workplace and a great firm to serve your legal needs.

The Committee endorses a broad understanding of diversity and seeks to promote programs and resources that enhance knowledge and encourage understanding of diversity, in order to create an inclusive, respectful, hospitable, and safe climate at the Firm.

The Diversity committee, therefore, seeks to:

  • Attract and retain outstanding attorneys and staff from diverse backgrounds, with different perspectives, experiences, and insights;
  • Promote the continuous development of multicultural experiences and create opportunities to understand and share our diverse backgrounds; and
  • Cultivate opportunities for community dialogue and outreach.
